6/9/2009 -
In its continuing June webinar learning series, NAPL is offering two new summer webinars on Sales Compensation and Mobile Marketing, respectively at noon on Monday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 16. Both are sponsored through the generous support of Canon. The Monday webinar will focus exclusively on sales compensation issues, followed by Tuesday’s webinar on a new marketing technology – mobile marketing – which should be of special interest to sales people as it involves innovative use of today’s pdas/smart phones to get messages across to key customers.
“Although the two topics are very different, sales and marketing are frequently talked about in the same breath,” notes Rhona Bronson, SVP, Marketing, NAPL. “The two webinars look to concentrate on different aspects of a company’s outreach plan for attaining and retaining customers.”
Does Your Sales Pay Plan Match Your Business Growth Plan?
On Monday, June 15th 12:00 noon ET the sales webinar entitled ‘Solving the Sales Compensation Puzzle’ presents latest findings from NAPL’s recently released Sales Compensation Study as a backdrop for discussing how to design a plan that fits with a company’s growth goals. Andrew Paparozzi, NAPL’s chief economist who led the study, provides key findings to help printers see how their own plans stack up against industry norms. He’ll be joined by Mike Philie, NAPL’s senior sales consultant, who discusses how compensation plans directly impact business performance and can be changed to better align with your growth goals. You’ll learn:
•How leading companies are implementing innovative compensation models
•Key obstacles that stop most printing companies from changing direction
•Action steps you can start to bring compensation in alignment with management goals
•What sales configurations work and don’t work when evolving into a market service
provider

Smart Phones for Smart Marketing
On Tuesday, June 16th, 12:00 noon ET, the PrintPlus webinar ‘Integrating Mobile Marketing into Print’ shows how print service providers can use newer mobile technologies to expand their own service offerings as a complement to print. Designed as a beginner-level tutorial, material is presented by Thad Kubis, President of NAK Marketing and Communications, Inc. Thad has been at the forefront of adapting emerging marketing technologies into sales and profit generating tools, often linking offline and online technologies into a seamless and powerful marketing initiative.
“The new digital world requires a look at new marketing technologies,” comments NAPL’s Bronson. “The entire June PrintPlus marketing series is geared towards emerging technologies that printers can consider in business development plans. It’s also critical that printers become familiar with new integrative marketing media, especially as they look to evolve into marketing service providers. The entire series brings participants up-to-speed on new marketing tools from PDAs to Twitter.”
